6-D: thematic Painting Reflection: March 5,2013.
1.) I think the good/strong parts of my painting are the sun, Becasue I blended the colors together.
2.) I could of taken more time because I really just rushed right through the project.
3.) My theme is a sunset because I just wanted to do something easy.
4.) My major colors are red, yellow and orange, because I was trying to represent the different shades of the sun and sky.
5.) I have tints like orange and light blue because of the sun and the sky. I also have some dark values like red because it shows the sunset.
6.) I learned that I shouldn't use the first thing that comes to mind, becuase i might want to do something else later.
7.) First i sketched it out. Then i juss apllied paint to the drawing. Finally, I applied the blends to the painting. I did it because it was part of my preliminary designs. I used a dry brush and applied it to my paper.I did my foreground first to see how it looked. As i went along i tried to blend more of the colors together.
8.) No I didn't like this painting project because I don't like mixing the colors.
